- Our spectrally-selective films reject up to 97% of the
sun's infrared light to keep your home cool and lower your
energy bills.
- 3M™ Window Films will also block up to 99.9% of the sun's
harmful UV rays, which are the single largest cause of fading.

By letting natural light complement or replace artificial light in your building
you can enjoy:
- Lower energy costs for lighting plus lower cooling cost
thanks to our superior heat rejection.
- Higher lease prices and less turnover from occupants that
are more productive and satisfied with their work in daylighted
spaces.

3M's premium line offers two styles of window films that actually have less interior
reflectivity than the glass they cover. The other styles have interior reflectivity
that is just 1% greater than glass. Reduced reflectivity enables potential customers
to clearly see merchandise inside retail locations, while businesses protect
their products from the sun and heat.

Because traditional window films use metal, they are susceptible to corrosion
in coastal environments and may interfere with mobile phone reception. Because
these new films have no metals, they are the first films to offer a variety of
selections that eliminate these problems and perform to the industry's highest
standards.

No one has more experience with window film than 3M. In 1966, we received the
first patent for window film. Today there are millions of square feet of 3M Window
Films installed around the world. With our new Prestige Series, we have once
again demonstrated why we are the industry leader.
